          Moray West is a new offshore wind project in the Moray Firth, north east Scotland
          The project will enter full operational phase in 2025.

          The wind farm is already providing a secure, reliable source of energy as an important step in climate action.

          Offshore wind is set to deliver the heavy lifting of the UK’s energy requirements, delivering at least 1/3 of the electricity requirement by 2030.

          The targets are growing, with the latest UK government setting a target of 60GW of offshore wind capacity installed by 2030 as part of a largely decarbonised electricity grid. Offshore wind is offering great value for consumers as well as decarbonising the economy.

          The Moray West Wind Farm houses 60 turbines with 2 offshore substation platforms.
