Early Life and EducationBill Bailey, whose real name is Mark Bailey, was born in in Bath, Somerset.
His father was a doctor and his mother was a nurse. He spent his childhood in Keynsham, a town between Bristol and Bath. He attended King Edward's School, where he excelled academically.
Bill Bailey is a comedian, musician, writer, actor, director, presenter and keen stand-up paddle-boarder known for his live shows such as Part Troll, Tinselworm.
However, he became more interested in music and playing in the school band, which led to him neglecting his studies. After school, Bill briefly studied literature at Westfield College, but dropped out after a year. He later earned a diploma in music from the London College of Music.
