          Harry William Harvey Sr. (January 10, 1901 – November 27, 1985[citation needed]) was an American actor of theatre, film, and television.

          He was the father of actor, script supervisor, and director Harry William Harvey Jr. He is best known for his performances on The Roy Rogers Show (1951–1957), and The Lone Ranger (1949).

          Career

          Born in Indian Territory, now Oklahoma,[1] Harvey appeared in minstrel shows, in vaudeville,[2] and on the Broadway stage but is best remembered as a character actor who appeared in more than three hundred
