          मधुसूदन कालेलकर

          मधुसूदन कालेलकर (जन्म : २२ मार्च १९२४; - वांद्रे, मुंबई, १७ डिसेंबर १९८५) हे साहित्यातील आणि चित्रपटसृष्टीतील एक दिग्गज नाव.

          कालेलकरांचा जन्म २२ मार्च १९२४ रोजी झाला.

           वेंगुर्ले येथे शालेय शिक्षण झाल्यावर ते मुंबईत आले.  सुरुवातीस ते गिरगावात रामचंद्र बिल्डिंग (आताचे सुंदर भवन)मध्ये राहण्यास आले.  तिथे गणेशोत्सवाचा निमित्ताने त्यांनी त्यांचे पहिले नाटक लिहिले आणि आपल्या लिखाणाचा श्रीगणेशा केला.

           मग त्यांनी आपला निवास वांद्रे पश्चिममध्ये येवले भवन येथे हलवला.
